你的声音 我的眼睛
我市第九届全民读书节系列活动从4月开始至今，各项活动正在陆续开展，全市的读者正在感受着阅读带来的快乐。系列活动中，盲人群体积极参与其中，他们听着文化志愿者轻声诵读与讲课、与志愿者分享所学，感受着社会大家庭带来的爱和温暖。
相互学习 共同进步
5月18日，市图书馆组织11名文化志愿者走入市特殊教育学校，开展面对面朗读活动。
11名文化志愿者是辽宁石油化工大学的学生。当天，他们为那里的9名盲童准备了丰富的“课程”，涉及语言、好书推荐、朗诵、趣闻等。盲班教室里，大二的郭子荣有点惊讶：“因为这些孩子都比我们小很多，当时是抱着传授、辅导的心态准备的，没想到和我结对的孩子在文学、中医方面研究挺深，现在我们是相互学习，共同进步。”郭子荣说。
与郭子荣结对的是10年级学生陈延民。得知文化志愿者要来，陈延民十分兴奋，他说：“我们平时生活在自己的圈子里，没什么圈子外的朋友，和这些哥哥姐姐交流，看到了更丰富的世界。”
2015年，市图书馆成立了文化志愿者服务队，现有文化志愿者50多人，以大学生、主持人、机关工作人员、医生等为主。作为全民读书节的一项子活动，针对盲童的面对面朗读活动已开展了5期，或是专业人员来辅导孩子们的声乐、朗诵，或是大学生与盲童一对一交流。
盲人知识竞赛活动受重视
市盲人协会每年都会举办盲人知识竞赛活动，今年，这项活动成为读书节的一项子活动。
5月15日助残日当天，近70位盲人朋友在各自的电脑面前参加比赛。比赛中，120套题目先后被主持人念出，大家进行抢答，最后各自计算成绩评选出一、二、三等奖和纪念奖共25名。因为参与到全民读书节中，活动较往年有了些变化：市残联专门配套了资金做活动经费，在题目的设置上，今年还特别增加了许多与我市历史、文化、地理、风土人情以及我市历届读书节相关的题目。
市盲人协会副主席、作家董玉明在2010年创立了市盲人电脑协会，是全国独一家。他告诉记者，从前，盲文书造价高、资源少，这也成为盲人阅读的障碍，现在，电子阅读器、听书软件等设备的出现为盲人群体带来了更丰富的图书资源，互联网也让全国各地的盲人朋友获得更多社交机会。在网上，他们分享着电子书籍资源和数目，交流着各自的读书心得。

On May 19, 2016, the titles “Your voice, My eyes” and “Cultural volunteers walked into Fushun Special Education School ” were applied respectively by Fushun Daily and Fushun Evening to report a series of activities that volunteer society from Foreign language department of our school ,named “brilliance of fireflies” , which initiated conducted reading for blind children in Fushun Special Education School.

Your voice, My eyes.
From April, the 9th Reading Festival activities has been carried out. All readers in the city are enjoying the happiness of reading. The blind also took an active part in the activities, listening the sound of reading and teaching of the volunteers ,sharing what they learned with them, feeling the love and warmth from the big family of our society.
Learning from each other and making progress together.
May 18th, Fushun Library summoned 11 cultural volunteers to carry out “face to face reading” activity in Fushun Special Education School.
These 11 volunteers are all students from LiaoNing ShiHua University. On that day, they prepared varied courses for the 9 blind children, including language speaking, book recommending, reciting, interesting news and so on. In the classroom, Guo Zirong, a sophomore student , was surprised by the blind children’s performance. “ Initially, we prepared to teach and guide them because they are much younger than us , but to our amazement, the child who I was guiding knew a lot about literature and traditional Chinese herbal medicine.Now we were learning from each other and making progress together.” He said.
Guo Zirong’s study partner was Chen Yanmin of Grade 10. Having learned that the volunteers were coming, he was very excited and said: “ We lived in our own circle with few friends, but these elder brothers and elder sisters made us learn a lot about the outside world through communicating.
In 2015, Fushun Library started a cultural volunteers team, which now boasts more than 50 cultural volunteers most of whom are college students, anchorpersons, staff members from institutions and doctors. As a minor activity of the Reading Festival activities, the face to face reading activity oriented to blind children has been carried out for 5 times. Sometimes the professional would come and help children with their vocal music and recitation, and sometimes college students would come and communicate with them in pairs.
Much importance has been attached to knowledge competition among the blind.
The Blind Association holds knowledge competition for the blind every year, this year, it became a part of the reading festival.
On May 15th , the Disabled day, about 70 blind people joined the competition in front of their computers. In the competition, the host spoke out 120 questions and the participants raced to be the first to answer the questions. Finally, according to their respective grades, 25 people, including the first, second, third prize winners and trophy winners were selected out. Compared with the previous years, there have been some changes this year because of the participation of the blind in the Reading Festival. Fushun Disabled Federation allocated special funds for the activity. On topic setting, questions related to Fushun history ,culture, geography , local customs and previous reading festival topics were added specially.
Dong Yuming, vice chairman of Fushun Disabled Federation and writer, established Fushun Blind Computer Association for the blind,the only such organization in China in the year of 2010. He told the reporter that in the past, books for the blind cost a lot and the resources were limited, and this became the additional obstacles for them to read. Nowadays, electronic reading , storytelling applications and other devices bring abundant reading resources to the blind, the internet also gives them more opportunities to social contact. On the internet, they share with each other their e-book resources and exchange their understanding of different books.
